Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Jack Jepson on January 18, 2025 at Victoria Hospital, London at the age of 85 with family by his side. Jack was predeceased by his partner in life, Kathleen Bisset (April 15, 2014).
He will be lovingly cherished and remembered by Karen (Scott) Sweet and Diane Bedard. He was “Grampa Jack” to Matthew (Jeanna) Dejong, Erica (Adam) Dejong, Denyse Zumach, Jocelyn Zumach, Ryan (Kim) Zumach, James Zumach and eleven great-grandchildren.
Jack was well loved and so appreciated. We fondly witnessed his adoring love for our mother and his joy in his role as Grampa. He impacted our family with his enthusiasm and generosity at family dinners, beach days, holiday celebrations and road trips. Jack loved to spend time in Springbank Park as he remembered his life with our Mom, with both tears and laughter. It was a joy to watch them dance and laugh together.
In keeping with the wishes of Jack, there will be no funeral. Our family will grieve privately.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to Jack’s care team at Victoria Hospital for their kindness and comfort during his time there.
May Jack find peace as he joins our Mother, his parents Walter and Edith Jepson and others dear to him who have passed before him.
If desired, donations in memory of Jack can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
