HUBER: Peacefully, at her residence, Sunday, July 10, 2011, Elisa Virginia (Ooms) (Van Rompaey) Huber, of Grand Bend, age 91. Beloved wife of the late Florent Van Rompaey. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Gilbert and Gladys Van Rompaey of Belgium, Theo “Ted” and Mary Van Rompaey of Dashwood, Annie Orban and Earl Dietrich of Grand Bend. Loving grandmother of Julianna and Bob Kloss, Connie Orban and Gregg Peckham, Anita Clarke, Kathy Curtis, Sharmaine and Mat Hayter, Shannon Van Rompaey and fiance Matt Shepley, Shane Van Rompaey and Allison Geiger, Anita Van Rompaey, Wim Van Rompaey and Ronny Van Rompaey; and great-grandmother of JoAnna and Robert Brunnenmeir, Robert and Nikki Kloss, Elyisa Orban, Elizabeth Peckham, Kivan Peckham, Kiara Farrow, Aidan Brunnehmeir and Finn Brunnenmeir; Ryan, Brianna, Evan and Liam Hayter, Ashley, Amanda, Crystal and Connor; Davey, Ward, and Lien Van Rompaey; Maaarten, Karlijne Van Rompaey. Dear sister of Angela Ooms and Jos Ooms, both of Belgium. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her grandson Danny Orban (1995), sisters Martha, Helena, Yvonna, Paula Ooms, brothers Cyriel, Jul and Emiel Ooms. Cremation. At Elisa’s request there will be no visitation or service.
