Rita and family, I am so sad to hear of Rick’s passing. He was a great gentleman and I always enjoyed his friendship and our interactions during our years in Kinsmen. I’m thinking about you at this difficult time and are sending my most sincere condolences to both of you and your families. It is never easy losing someone you love; but treasure the precious memories shared with Rick and may they bring you comfort. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers with much love. God bless.

Sincere condolences, Rita and family on the loss of your husband and father and Lois on the loss of your brother. This comes from long ago next door neighbors in the late 50’s and early 60’s of the whole Hodkinson family at Schade View, the McNeill clan. I talked to my brother Ted tonight and he remembered the classy convertible that Rick had in 1959.We also remembered the daily trips to the beach when Dot and our mother Marj would gather up kids and off we would go. Rick and Bob were too old to be part of this but were always around and “big brotherly.” Great memories of days gone by! Cherish your memories and hold them in your heart, lean on friends and family for support and comfort. Sincerely Bev Connelly, Ted McNeill, Kathy Jeffery, and Don McNeill.

When my wife and I lived in Grand Cove a few years back I would
quite often see Rick at our local “post office” and also at Probus meetings.
Always had a smile and I enjoyed chatting with him.
    My condolences to the family.
