At the Exeter Villa, on Monday, July 24, 2017, of Exeter and formerly of Hensall, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gerhardus (Gerry) Heyink (2014). Dear mother of Allan and Sylvia Heyink, and Raymond and Sandy Heyink all of Hensall. Dear grandmother of Scott and Lisa, Gregory, Mitchell; Curtis, Breanna, Chelsea, Thebe, and Olwakhe. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Miep Van Lochem; Mina Westerveld, Alice Bakelaar, Wilma and Carl deBoer, Rita and Stuart deVries, and Martin and Karen Guichelaar. Missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bill (1982), her sister Grada Greivink, brothers Hank, Gerrit, and Jan Van Lochem.
The Heyink family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the staff at Exeter Villa for their excellent care over the last few years.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Thursday evening 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 330 Huron Street W. Exeter on Friday, July 28th at 11 AM with Pastor Kevin teBrake officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to Huron Christian School, or the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated by the family.
