HENDRON: We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Dorothy “Dot” Jean (Glendinning) (DesJardine) Hendron, of Grand Bend, age 93, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Glenford Owen DesJardine (1981) and Alfred Joseph Hendron (1997). She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Cassie and Stan Lovie of RR 3, Parkhill, Leo and Susan DesJardine, her grand-son Mathew DesJardine, great-grandchildren Ty and Bryn DesJardine all of Sarnia, step-son Doug and Barbara Shephard, step-grandchildren Erryn Shephard, Ellen McConnell, Allyson and Howie Owens, step-great-grandchildren Bronwyn, Seamus and Lexy. Dear sister of Helen Mizzen of California. Remembered by her nieces, nephews, their families and her many friends. Predeceased by her brother George Glendinning (1988). Rested at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, visitation was held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, where the Funeral Service was held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiated. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the M. S. Society, Salvation Army, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
