Peacefully, with her family at her side at LHSC-University Hospital on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Helen (Hicks) McNaughton of Ilderton and formerly of Markham in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Jim McNaughton for 55 years. Cherished mother of Heather and Dave Sissons of Calgary, Debbie and Ron Wilson of Hamilton and devoted son Jim McNaughton of Vancouver. Left with many fond memories of their Nana are grandchildren Blair, Scott, David; Shannon and Eric, Aimee, Megan and Miguel, Sean, Brenden and great-grandsons Kyle, Cole and Tristan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of George Hicks of Brighton, David and Yvonne Hicks of Barrie, Eileen Harris of Calgary, Nicky Bryce of Peterborough, Carol Hicks of Brooklin, Anne Allardyce of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Orene McNaughton, John and Katherine McNaughton, Gordon and Jean McKeen and Scott McNair all of Ilderton and Donelda Bodajla of Delhi. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Cecil, Bill and Fred Hicks, sisters-in-law Hazel Hicks, Grace Harris, Irene Langford, Mary McKichan, Ruth McKeen and Nora McNair and brothers-in-law Jim Harris, Charlie Harris, Jack Langford, Wilfred McKichan, George Bodajla, Peter McNaughton, Jim Allardyce. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The memorial service will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Highway #4 at Ilderton Road on Saturday, December 1st at 1 PM with Rev. Doug Miles officiating. Cremation with interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre. Donations to Bethel Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
