Patrick Francis Hartman, age 6, of Zurich passed away suddenly on Sunday. April 20, 2025. Born in Stratford on October 1, 2018, Patrick is survived by his parents Andrew and Marina (Crowley) Hartman. Loving brother of Eli, Gregory, Alfred, and Kyle. Also survived by grandparents Dave and Beatrice (Van De Walle) Crowley and Francis and Doreen (Vink) Hartman. Fondly remembered by several special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Deeply missed and loved by his St. Boniface Bulldog and church community as well as his exceptional support staff.
Patrick, best known for his radiant smile and fearless passion for life, was the most outgoing and courageous little man. He adored trains, blowing bubbles, puddle jumping, and testing his limits, both a road runner and a gentle tiger. Patrick had an undeniable talent to make people laugh, he was the most friendly and endearing fella. Patrick loved to read, he adored his role as a big brother, he always saw the brightest side of everything he endured. Patrick was the first sweet boy who welcomed his mom and dad to parenthood, he was the best friend to so many other children that were blessed to know and love, he was the echo in a loud room, he was father’s timekeeper at church. Patrick brought so much light to the short life he lived, and he will always continue to live on fiercely in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to Patrick’s visitation at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Monday April 28th from 2 – 4 and 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Knights of Columbus Prayers will be held at 6 PM.
Patrick’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 22 Mary Street, ZURICH on Tuesday April 29th at 11 AM. Interment St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery on the Bronson Line. A reception will follow at the Zurich Community Centre.
Donations in memory of Patrick may be made to the St. André Bessette Trust Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
