Unexpectedly, at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 of RR 1 Hay. Devoted husband of Johanne (van Geleuken) Hartman. Best dad in the world of Eugene and Karen Hartman of Grand Bend, and Kerri-Lynn Marshall of Huntsville. Loving step-dad of Jennifer Reaburn and Ryan Somers, Christopher Reaburn and Shelley Radtke, and Michael and Danielle Reaburn. Cherished grandpa of Sarah Grace, Lucas Jonathan, Ian Alexander, Keira Lynn, Kristen Jane, and Nathan James. Loving step-grandpa to Josh Radtke, River Somers Reaburn, and Morgan Reaburn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Theresa Egan, Ronald and Barb Hartman, Gary Hartman and Karen Garrow, Carolyn Sweiger, Charlene and Mike Overholt, Mark and Tracy Hartman, Patty Shipway and Ric Gilbert. Uncle Eug will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Victor Lawrence and Irene Theresa (Girard) Hartman. A true man of empathy, compassion, and faith surrounded by furry friends, music, and nature. 

Funeral Mass will be held at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 200 Sanders Street West, Exeter on Saturday, October 13th at 11 AM. Reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation has taken place.

Donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
