HANES: Frances (Betty) Elizabeth (Fitzallen). At Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy, on Friday, January 13, 2012, Betty passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband, Alexander James (Jim) Hanes, her son, James (Peter) Hanes and her brother, John (Jack) Howard Fitzallen. Beloved mother of Patty Dennison of London, Marilynne (Bob) Williamson of Lubbock, TX, and Betsy (Janice Sinker) Hanes of London. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Devin (Jill) Somers, Ryan Somers, Colin (Alicia) Somers, Adam (Mary) Williamson, Paul (Brenda) Williamson, and Emily Baack. She will be missed by her many great-grandchildren and all of her “adopted daughters”. . Remembered by her sister-in-law, Kay Fitzallen and former daughter-in-law, Stephanie Barber Hill, as well as her cousins and many friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sprucedale for their care, compassion and kindness. There will be cremation and a private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. For all her family and friends a “Celebration of Life” for Betty for will be held at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club, 465 Sunningdale Road, London, on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm. A short service officiated by Rev. Harry Disher will be at 1:30 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Sprucedale Care Centre Family Council, or the charity of your choice. T.
