HAMILTON: Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, on Tuesday, April 16, 2002, Clara (Lewis) Hamilton, formerly of Grand Bend, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Alexander “Alec” Hamilton (1992). Dear mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Betty Hamilton of Ottawa, Brad and Rita Hamilton of Brantford. Loving grandmother of Brent, Lesley and Elizabeth of Edmonton, Allen, Ron and Keith all of Brantford. Loved by her nephew Marvin Wein of Crediton and his family. Predeceased by her granddaughter Debbie, sister Gladys Wein, brother Eber Lewis, parents Harry and Rebecca (Sims) Lewis. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Thursday 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2002 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Grand Bend United Church, Blue Water Rest Home or charity of choice would be appreciated. Clara was a life member of the Grand Bend Women’s Institute, Grand Bend United Church and with her husband Alec, operated “Hamilton’s Dairy” in Grand Bend for over 40 years.
