
HACKETT: Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family, on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, John Patrick Hackett, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Owen Sound and Toronto, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late F. Elsie (Hatton) Hackett (1996). Loving father and father-in-law of Lance and Sharon Hackett of Fenelon Falls, Linda and Paul Corrigan of Orangeville, Laurie Hackett and John Bryson of London, John Hackett of Cambridge and Rita, Lisa Hackett and Dan OโBrien of Mount Brydges, Jim Hackett and Nancy Naujokaitis of London and Shari Hackett of Cambridge. Loved by his 14 grandchildren, their spouses and 7 great-grandchildren. Beloved companion and friend of Betty Hales of Grand Bend and her family. Dear brother-in-law of Doris Hackett of Liverpool, England. Predeceased by brothers Jim Hackett, Thomas Hackett and sister Mary OโDonnell. Private family interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. A Memorial Service to celebrate Johnโs life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Father Francis Thekkumkattil C.S.T officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
