
GUNNING: Peacefully, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, Orian (Stephan) Gunning of Exeter Villa, Exeter, formerly of Grand Bend, age 87. Beloved wife of the late Ronald “Ron” Gunning (2009). Loved mother of Paul and Mary Lou Gunning of Grand Bend and Peter Gunning of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Candice Gunning and her partner Mark Gagnon of Curries, Ryan Gunning of Grand Bend, Paige Gunning of Toronto, Nicole and Britt Gunn of Grand Bend and Brad Turkheim and Jen Barclay of London. Cherished great-grandmother of Nathan Gagnon, Connor Gunn and Carson Gunn. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sharon Stephan of London, Marjorie Stephan of London, Jack and Sandra Stephan of Exeter. Orian will be remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Otto Stephan and Pearl (Smale) (Stephan) Hooper, brothers Ron Stephan, Mervyn Stephan and sister Margaret Stephan. Orian worked at London Life, BMO, Grand Bend and retired as Manager of Grand Bend PUC. She had very fond memories of all the Staff at Exeter Villa. Orian always thought of herself last and never complained. She thought the world of her family and loved to travel and Barbados was her favourite. To the Family, Orian was a Saint. At Orian’s request cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Interment Service at the Pinery Cemetery, Klondyke Road, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations (payable direct) to the Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, the South Huron Hospital Foundation, Exeter or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.
