In the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by his family, Larry A. Guidolin passed away peacefully at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Elisa (Giannini) Guidolin for 57 years. He is deeply cherished by his children, Angela (Guy P.) Hamilton, Jason (Carolyn) Guidolin, Sarah (Andrew) Chiarappa, Joshua (Nathalia) Guidolin and by his daughter-in-law, Alycia and Son-in-law John Paul.
Proud Nonno of Nica (Liam), Carter, Jacob, Samuel & Giorgio, and fur baby, Rocky.
Predeceased by his parents Larry & Adeline Guidolin. Dear brother of the late Donna Novakowski, Clarence and Dennis Guidolin. He is eternally reunited with his son, Larry P. Guidolin, and his infant son.
Although Larry’s journey has come to an end, he leaves behind a legacy built on strong faith, deep love for his family, and a remarkable ability to see tribulations as moments of learning and strength. Larry’s laugh was truly infectious and touched the hearts and lives of all who met him. He made everyone happier. Larry was a master musician—naturally gifted by God—and used his gift to touch and inspire the hearts of many.
The family would like to thank the loving Angels and Doctors at LHSC – Victoria Hospital’s Trauma Unit for their care and compassion for Larry. They demonstrated a true example of how to care for others in times of need. The family would also like to thank his wonderful best friends, his brother & sister-in-law (Pasqualino & Lize Giannini), for their many years of friendship and love. Special thanks to Michelle Douglas for being present as they navigated this journey. Our heartfelt gratitude to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners, his personal support workers, and everyone who loved him.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at North Park Community Church, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, LONDON on Friday, January 30, 2026 beginning at 12 PM. Words of remembrance to begin at 1 PM with a reception to follow.

It was such a privelege to have known Larry and to be an extended Family member. His Graciousness, Kindness and very welcoming personality will always be remembered. He set an example to us with his Faith and therefore, lives on. His laughter and jokes lit up a room and I will miss that. To all the Guidolins “May he Rest in Peace in God’s Loving Arms. Love Lynda

It is difficult to speak about Larry without making it personal, because of the way he made each of us feel. Whenever we spent time with him, he welcomed us warmly and openly. He brought joy and laughter into our lives, challenged us to think, and encouraged us to be faithful followers of our Lord, whom he believed in with deep conviction.
Larry’s soul was bright, and his presence was unmistakable. Even in the midst of his own challenges, he had a remarkable way of making others feel valued and truly seen. I believe his greatest accomplishment was his beautiful family, and the way he loved them—fully, faithfully, and in the moment.
We take comfort in knowing that the faith Larry lived by now carries him home, and that his life and love continue to guide us until we meet again.
Our deepest condolences Lisa and family. We love you and are mourning with you ❤️

It was my joy to have spent time to with Larry over the years and to join with him in music as he expertly played his clarinet or saxophone and I accompanied him on the piano or accordion. I enjoyed his personality, his laughter, and the generous way in which he shared his life and his love for the Lord. Larry was a tremendous example to me of boldness in sharing of his faith. “Are you talking to me?” was the preamble spoken by Larry to so many he reached out to with his testimony and invitation for others to come to faith in Christ. Roma-Lynn and I will deeply miss him–along with so many of his friends and acquaintances! But we are comforted by the glorious hope all who have trusted Christ have as believers. Larry spoke often of his love for you, Lisa, and for each one of his children; and we pray the peace of God will be with all of you at this time.

Uncle Larry – I’m so lucky to have some wonderful memories with you. Walking out of the airport in Cuba and just seeing how big of a heart a presence you brought to a community has and will always stick with me. Everyone knew who you were. Thank you for always welcoming me with big, warm, loving arms into your home, heart and family. I always felt your love and acceptance. It had been a very long time since I saw you last but I hope you knew how much I adored you.
To the family, I know this is a big loss for you all and I am sending my condolences and hope to be able to give you all a hug soon.
Love, Crystal
