Passed away peacefully with her husband by her side, at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the age of 79. Survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Peter Grilly of Exeter, her two sons Mike Sedlak (Lucy) of St Marys and Jeff Sedlak (Shelly) Of London, and her 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Douglas Tiffin (Karen) and Helen Jackson (Don) both of Chatham and sister-in-law of Sandra Tiffin of Tilbury. Fondly remembered by her extended family Jennifer and Chris Downie of Crediton and Debbie and Ron Byers of Regina. Predeceased by her parents Mabel and Melvin Tiffin, sister Kay Ellis, brother Larry Tiffin, brother-in-law George Jr. Ellis, and nephew Dwayne Ellis.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Jessica’s House for the exceptional care they provided to Janice.
In keeping with Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside will be held at Dresden Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, Exeter (519-235-1220).
Donations to Jessica’s House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
