Adored Poppa of Matt (Nicole), Kiersten (James), Anna (Trent), and Claire and great-grandpa of Emily. Dear brother-in-law of Carl Lave (Gail Burns), Tony Lave (Gladys), and Grethe Henn (Scott). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Edith (Wyatt) and Isaac Grigg.
Keith was an active member of the community, first as a local farmer born and raised on the home farm on 14 Mile Road, then as a Transportation Coordinator for the Middlesex County Board of Education, responsible for all the school bus routes in the county. Later in retirement, he continued his involvement with many other volunteer programs.
Keith’s true passion and commitment, was to the Ilderton Lion’s Club. Keith first became a member in 1958 and then progressed within the Lion’s organization to District Governor and then rose to Chairman of the Governor’s Council. His various roles and responsibilities within the Lion’s Club gave him many joyous years of memories and long-lasting friendships that he cherished.
Keith was known for his gift of telling a good joke and his talent as a public speaker. He loved to be in the spotlight and he excelled at it. He was an avid hockey fan, devoted to the Montreal Canadiens and cheered on the London Majors with his good friend George Kennedy.
