GOYETTE: Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Strathroy, on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, Caroline “Carol” Delia (Jordan) Goyette, of Port Franks, age 73. Beloved wife of J. Jean M. Goyette. Loved mother and mother-in-law of David Goyette of London and Chantale and Robert Knight of Wilkesport. Grandmother of Kristopher and Michael. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Nick and Susan Jordan of Verner, Robin Jordan and fiancée Audrey Millard of Aylmer, Gavin Jordan and Melissa Weir of Croton, Susan and Tim O’Brien of Parkhill. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Dennis Frank (2009) and Margery Lillian (Rippingale) Jordan (2019). At Carol’s request, visitation will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 1 to 3 p.m. and cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to Jean and family. Carol was an amazing beautiful soul and will be greatly missed. I have alot of amazing cherished memories, from going shopping, Carol teaching me how to make hot cross buns, Coal Miners Daughter video I watched repeatedly, even her sassy comments that make me smile, I could go on and on. My thoughts are with Jean and family always and having the comfort knowing Carol is always with us.

I have fond memories of Carol during the year that I lived at her place almost as much as my parents’ place. She was kind and welcoming to me. I always felt at home, despite being somewhat shy. She fed me, she mothered me, and was always good to me.
My love goes to her family during this time of sorrow and great loss.
