GORE: At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, Respirology Unit, Thursday, July 10, 2008, Donald Noel Gore of Grand Bend, formerly of London, age 82. Beloved husband of Doris (Sharrow) Gore and the late Constance (Anthony) Gore (1972). Dearest father of Jaye and Stephanie of Delaware, Mark and Betsy of Coldstream and Pamela and David Wilson of London. Special grandpa to Jessica and Trent Pare, Anne and Graham Buchanan, Tyler, Dana, Will and Jaimie Gore, Karmen and Sam Vail and three “Greats” Jack Pare, Jacob Buchanan and Emily S-Gore. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Raymond and Pat Gore and Frankie Gore, all of Barrow Bay, Ivan Sharrow of Exeter, Millie Parkinson of London, Marion Sharrow of Grand Bend, Evelyn King and Sandra Craw both of Brantford. Also remembered by several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Cpt. John T. and Ellen (Fudge) Gore, brothers Jack and Lloyd Gore. Don was an engineer with Trigen London Energy Corporation, retiring in 1990. He will long be remembered for his sense of humour (Jokes). Through his life there are so many people who he has touched and are richer knowing him. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pinery Baptist Church, Lakeshore Drive, Highway 21, Northville, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. Pastor Robert Lively officiating. The family wish to extend their grateful thanks to the Medical and Nursing Staff of the Respirology Unit for their compassion and professionalism. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Society, Pinery Baptist Church or charity of choice would be appreciated.
