GLAVIN: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Saturday, May 29, 2004, Raphael Michael “Ray” Glavin, 76, of RR 2, Crediton (Mount Carmel). Beloved husband of Marcella Marie (Lavigne) Glavin. Loving father and father-in-law of Monica and Dan McLay, Denise and Randy Tapp, all of London, Jackie and Joe Gaudio of Toronto, Gary Glavin and Sandra Taylor of Centralia, Debbie Glavin and David Chan of Toronto, Kevin Glavin and Teresa Radke of Centralia. Loving grandpa of Blake and Lindsey Tapp, Angela and Jordan Gaudio, Brittany and Leesa Taylor, Skylar and Megan Glavin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Martina Glavin of Parkhill, Helen McDonald of RR 5, Parkhill, Mary Dietrich of Mount Carmel, Pat and Hazel Glavin of RR 2, Crediton and Theresa Glavin of Exeter Villa. Remembered by the Lavigne family of New Brunswick and Ontario, his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brothers John Glavin, Fr. Basil Glavin, sister Madeline Glavin, brothers-in-law Charles Dietrich, Hanley McDonald, parents Michael Charles and Mary Ellen (Sullivan) Glavin. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday afternoon and evening. Family and Parish prayers at the funeral home Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., Knights of Columbus, Council #8480 Prayers, Monday evening at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Callistus St. Louis celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
