On the evening of Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Jesus took Margaret home to be reunited with her husband Cleve. Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Cleve Gingerich (2012) for 61 years. Cherished mother of the late Cliff (2007) and Delores Gingerich, Marlene and Dennis Estep, the late Rick (2019) and Marg Gingerich, and Charlotte and Dan Elliott. Proud grandma of Chris, Cory and Sarah, Val and Jeff; Tim and April, Alisha, Pam and Chad; Megan and Carlos, David and Stephanie, Steven and Adriane, Colin and Lauren; Stephanie and Dave, Devon, Taylor and Sonya, and Michaela and Trong, great-grandma of Sophie, Jax, Nolan, Blythe, Ronan, Ewan, Marshall, Maddie, Chey, Reed, Hannah, Spencer, Peyton, Thea, Carson, Wesley, Athena, Lauren and great great-grandma of Liam. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Roy Erb, Grace Martin, Mary Lou Erb, Pearl Ann and Mahlon Martin, and Gloria and Wally Dirks. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mattie (Kennel) and Edmond Erb, brother Clifford Erb, sisters-in-law Doreen Erb, and Lenore Erb and her siblings-in-law Pearl (Gingerich) and Andrew Kuepfer, Irvin Martin, Cyril and Carol Gingerich, Gerald Gingerich, and Victor and Audrey Gingerich.
Margaret loved to quilt and was proud to have created a beautiful applique quilt for each of her grandchildren. She was actively involved in CG Farm Supply with Cleve. Margaret was very involved and dedicated much of her time to her church. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Visitation will be held at Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Church, 37818 Zurich Hensall Road, ZURICH on Monday, December 9th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, where Margaret’s funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Interment Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Cemetery.
