Peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Lucan on Saturday, November 4, 2006 Gertrude (Tiny) A. (Young) Kennedy of Wiarton and formerly of Lucan in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Glen Kennedy. Dear mother of Debra Kennedy, and Denise and Mike Thompson all of Lucan, Dave and Cheryl Kennedy of Centralia, and Darren and Darryl Kennedy both of London. Dear grandmother of Glen; Corey, Sherri, Tracy and Chad; Murray, James and Daniel and great grandmother of Parker, Peiton and Lucas. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Freda and Jake Van Arenthals of Lucan, Jim Young of Strathroy, Marie Cain of London, Yvonne and Ernest McCarthy of St. Thomas, Robert and Patricia Young of St. Marys, Ken and Marion Young of Chatham, John Young of Kettle Point and Pat and Jack Benda of London. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and her best friend Margaret Townsend of London. Predeceased by a brother Fred (1999). Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 11 AM with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
