G. Earle Gass, of Hensall, passed away peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Micks) Gass and the late Norma (Galbraith) Gass (1978). Dear father of Brenda Gass and Dan Saunders of Clinton and Krista Gass and Jeffrey Fleming of Mississauga. Loving grandfather of Mervyn, Christopher and Craig and great-grandfather of Brett, Andrew and Owen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gordon and Muriel Gass and Mae Gass. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and the Galbraith family. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Catherine (Storey) Gass, his wife Norma Galbraith, his children Dedrah, Garry and Deborah and his brother Howard Gass.
Visitation at McBeath’s 79 King St.,Hensall on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Hensall United Church. Visiting 1 hour prior to service time. Pastor Tracey Whitson Bahro officiating. Interment Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth, Ont.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Queensway Resident Fund.
