Peacefully at her late residence on Monday, November 18, 2002 Florence D. (Thompson) Hodgins of Lucan in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late George J. Hodgins (1964). Dear mother of Veda Smith and Gerald and Alice Hodgins all of Lucan. Dear grandmother of Betty, Sherry, Fred, Carol and Cathy; and Edward. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Andy and Marion Thompson of McGillivray Township and Bernice Thompson of Lucan. Predeceased by a great-grandson Jeff, a son-in-law Ralph Smith, sisters Mary (Minnie) Barnes, Kay Haggar, Grace Dixon, Edith Watson and brothers Hiram, Murray, and Stuart Thompson. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at 11 AM with Rev. Bruce Pocock officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lucan or V.O.N. would be appreciated by the family.
