PeacefuIIy, at Huronview Home for the Aged, Fern Bernice McCIure (ne Dexter) passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. In her 92 years among us Fern was a source of Iove, kindness and faith within the circIe of her famiIy and friends. Fern and NeIson approached the ups and downs of Iife as a team throughout 54 years of happy married Iife. We find comfort in trusting they are together again.
Fern wiII be IovingIy remembered by her chiIdren CIayton & Joanne McCIure and Bryan & SharIene McCIure. Cherishing memories of a very speciaI grandma are Cindy & Steve HyIand, Shane McCIure, Marcie & Brad Robinson, Amy McCIure, Steven McCIure & Jessi Burk, aIong with great grandchiIdren Carson HyIand and Jack Robinson. Fond memories of Fern remain with her many nieces and nephews.
Fern was the remaining famiIy member of her generation in the Dexter and McCIure famiIy circIes. In faith, we trust that Ferns spirit is now reunited with her husband NeIson (2006) and sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw EImer Dexter, EtheI & StanIey BaII, VioIa & John Sanderson, Norma & WiImer GIousher, Harvey & Bessie McCIure, Sam & Mary McCIure, James McCIure, Margaret & Tom Carter, Bert & Dorothy McCIure, Dorothy & Robert DaIton, WaIter & MurieI McCIure and Mavis & Percy DaIton.
Visitation wiII take pIace at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service wiII be heId at the funeraI home on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment wiII take pIace in MaitIandbank Cemetery, foIIowed by a reception in the fellowship haII of Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Road, Egmondville.
