Tragically, as the result of an accident while cycling, on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 of Crediton in his 18th year. Cherished son of Rick and Jennifer (Wilkinson) Feltz. Adored, best friend and older brother of Mckyla. Much loved grandson of Linda (Morley) Wilkinson of Lucan and her friend Gary Land of Exeter and Marion (Keller) Feltz and her friend John Kenney of Brinsley. Loving nephew of Tammy (Wilkinson) and Jeremy Langendyk of Clandeboye. Adored cousin of Alyssa and Owen Langendyk. Special friend of Paige Plantenga of Huron Park. Predeceased by his Poppa George Wilkinson (2017) and Grandpa Robert Feltz (1998). Missed by his furry friends Diesel and Willow. He will be missed by many extended family members, friends from school and co-workers, and especially the guys from ‘The Krew’.
Even at his young age Brody was a very hard worker and was looking forward to the future. He had many goals including becoming an aircraft maintenance engineer, working alongside his Dad. He liked to fix things, mainly small engines, ride his 4-wheeler, go fishing with his friends from ‘The Krew’ and driving in his truck. He was spontaneous, quick witted, could be a softy one moment but then tough guy the next moment. He had a heart of gold and a dry sense of humour. We will miss his half smiled grin.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Tuesday, July 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Registration is required and appreciated. A funeral service and celebration of Brody’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 6th at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 148 Frederick Street, Dashwood with Pastor John Trembulak officiating. Registration is not required to attend the service. In honour of Brody please dress casually, and if able, wear your favourite cowboy boots. I didn’t know Brody well, but I did consider him a friend. We worked together at the Canco Gas Station in Exeter. On the weekends when he would come in for his shift as mine was ending we would always talk, sometimes we would talk about random little things, sometimes we would joke and laugh, other times we would complain about work. He was always a very nice person, and I am going to miss seeing him at work and talking every weekend.
He left an impact on many lives, and now it is our turn to be strong for him. He will always be watching over, providing strength on the days that are hardest. Brody was taken from this world far too soon. My condolences to Brody’s family and friends, may you always have your memories with him.
