FAULKES: Peacefully, with the love of his family surrounding him, at Woodstock General Hospital, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, Roy William Faulkes, of Woodstock, formerly of Grand Bend, Rockland, Whitby and Barrie, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Williams) Faulkes. Loved father and father-in-law of Andrew Faulkes of Port Perry, daughter-in-law Muriel Faulkes, Kim Faulkes of Ottawa, Janice Faulkes of Oshawa, Craig and Kathy Faulkes of Bowmanville. Cherished grandpa of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean Dunican of Ireland. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents George and Margaret (Evans) Faulkes, sister Elizabeth Battrick, brothers-in-law Fred Battrick and John Dunican. At Roy’s request cremation has taken place and a Private Family graveside service will be held at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
