Passed at Blue Water Rest Home on March 27, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Wilma (Jantzi) (2011). Special friend of Mae Campbell (2020). Cherished father of Doug and Rini, and Dale and Rose both of Zurich. Adored grandpa of Jason and Rachel Erb, Angela and Michael Treanor, Michelle Erb, Jennifer and Chad Patterson, Christina Erb, and Nickalas and Sarah Erb. Great-grandpa of Astrid, Muirgen, August, Chelsea, Ashleigh, Jaydyn, Chase, Kaybree, Jacksen, Tristin, Vanessa, Griffin, Keira, and Eli. Brother-in-law of Myrtle Jantzi of Levittown, Pennsylvania. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Chris and Lydia (Baechler), his brothers and their wives, Leonard and Greta, Emmerson and Anna, his sister and her husband, Alice and Ervin Gingerich and his brother-in-law Laverne Jantzi.
Visitation will be held at Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Church, 37818 Zurich Hensall Road, Zurich on Thursday, April 1st from 12:30 – 1:30PM. The funeral service will follow at Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Church on Thursday at 2PM, with Pastor Ryan Jantzi and Pastor Dennis Estep officiating. Please click register now below to register.
