EDWARDS: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his residence, on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, Oliver David Bryan “Ollie” Edwards of R. R. #3, Dashwood, in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Sherrie Anne (Stade) Edwards. Dear father of Lindsay Edwards and her fiance Grant Cooke of Stratford and cherished grandpa of their daughter, Stephanie Cooke. Dear brother of Ron and Susan Edwards of London, Bryan Edwards of Monkton, Roger Edwards of Kitchener, John Edwards and best friend Heather of Tavistock and Paul Edwards of Hamilton. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Loved son-in-law of Melvin and Gertie Stade of R. R. #3, Dashwood. Also remembered by his former wife, Rose. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Dorothy (Goodwin) Edwards, sisters-in-law Doris Edwards and Kathy Nigh. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday afternoon and evening; where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association, Zion Lutheran Church or charity of choice would be appreciated. Ollie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Goderich Branch No. 109 and an avid bowler belonging to many leagues.
