EBY: Margaret “Maggie” Anne (Goudy)

EBY:  Peacefully, but unexpectedly, after a valiant struggle since October, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, London, on Monday, January 7, 2019, Margaret “Maggie” Anne (Goudy) Eby of RR 1, Dashwood, “Smokey Hollow”, age 67.  Beloved wife of Robert “Bob” W. Ashmore.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jennifer Eby of RR 1, Dashwood and Geoff Eby and Bea of Oakville.  Cherished grandma of Conor Eby.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jim and Nancy Goudy of British Columbia, John Goudy of Toronto, Helen and Gary Gibson of Ridgetown, Doug and Jill Ashmore of Fort Erie.  A Private Family Time was held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood followed by cremation.  A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.  Maggie was a long time Optimist Member and served as local chair of Bravery Beads, Children’s Health Foundation, London.  She was the Board Treasurer of SWONT Conductive Education Trust Fund, for children with Cerebral Palsy. Maggie was Past Lt. Governor of Optimist International from Zone 8 of SWONT.  If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
