Suddenly, as the result of a tragic automobile collision, on Monday, September 23, 2013, of Crediton at the age of 21. Beloved daughter of Dan and Penney Eastabrook and dear sister of Kyle Eastabrook and canine sister Millie, all of Crediton. Dear granddaughter of Marvin Wein of Crediton and Donna Wein of Exeter and Marie Eastabrook of Watford. Dear niece of Gary and Diane Wein, Cheryl and Brian Kennedy, Sharon McLeod, Rick Wein, Bruce Joyce, Rob and Linda Campbell; Doug Eastabrook and Kim and Paul Dennis. Predeceased by her grandfather Orville Eastabrook, uncle Clare Eastabrook, aunt Darlene (Wein) Joyce and uncles Bill Glenn and Jim McLeod. A very special thank-you to Kerri Barrett for being such a great friend and the sister she never had.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main), on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Cremation with interment Crediton Cemetery.
Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Dan, Penny, and Kyle. I first met kaitlyn when she was just a tiny little baby, just starting to crawl around. I remember her when you would leave her with me, when you went to work, she would crawl over to the door and stand there, leaning up against the door,as that was the last place she she you leave through. Mind you, she only did that for a few minutes, then away she would go, happy as could be, with that perpetual smile she always had on her face. She loved playing with all the other kids here, and was always such a pleasure to have here. As she grew older, so did my love for her and Kyle. The were like family, after all, they were here for many years. I missed them when they stopped coming . Watching Kaitlyn and Kyle becoming adults, made me feel older every time I saw them. You were amazing parents to Kate, and now, even though all you have is memories, please remember that she loved you, and all you did with her and for her. Kyle, you were so special to Kaitlyn. You were the perfect brother,, one that she was so proud of. I know you are going to feel the loss of your sister deeply. But keep your own memories of happier times when you and Kaitlyn were together, close to your heart. She will always be close by, you may not be able to see her, but I am sure you will feel her presence around you. My heart aches for you all, and I wish there was something, anything I could do, to ease this painful period in your lives. Kaitlyn was a vibrant toddler when I first met her, one month before her first birthday. Her intensely blue eyes and almost white blond hair made her appear as a life size doll. Many days were spent playing with a little girl who could not get enough tickles, hugs or time walking to the park, often loaded up on top of the buggy. Time pushing Kaitlyn on swings and holding her hand as she teetered up the dinosaur climber flew by quickly. Penny and Dan were also there, watching me grow up, taking me camping with them, and allowing me to care for Kaitlyn and Kyle in their home. I felt like family. The last time I spoke to Kaitlyn she was proudly heading into to her last day of college, her crystal blue eyes gleaming.
