    Helen and girls
You know how we fell about your loss and know how much the girls will miss their father. Don was very proud of his girls and showed it in his way. I even wish now that i could phone my parents and have a little chit chat. Hope to see you the next time we are visiting Neil and Jennifer. love Don and Kathy

    Dear Karen and family
I love the picture of your dad. Seeing him with his ball hat on made me smile and remember the many years he would sit in the stands cheering us on at basketball or whatever sport we were playing at the time. He was always so proud of his girls – and I know that you all were always so proud of him in return. He was a great person and an amazing dad. Know that we are thinking of all of you at this very sad time.
    Love Lynn

Mrs. McQuigge, Karen, Sandra, Nancy and Jennifer,
I was so saddened by the news of Mr. McQuigge&&single&&s passing. Although it&&single&&s been years since we&&single&&ve seen each other, old friends are always held dear to the heart. I can&&single&&t imagine the loss felt by your family at this time.
Mr. McQuigge stood his ground as the lone man in your home – I don&&single&&t know if he survived because of his sense of humour, or developed it out of self-defense! For years, I have not been able to hear the word “PITA” without thinking of your husband and dad instead of the bread.
I hope your own memories bring some smiles, laughter and the love of family to help you through this difficult time.
    Thinking of you,
    Sheryl

I first met Don in my teen years while hanging around his daughters. My memories are still clear today of his open invitations to sit with the family, play trivial pursuit, just hang out and feel welcome. My family values have been shaped by positive role models which I have encountered over my life. Don was one of those. It was always nice to see that a man could derive such pleasure out of family and friends. He will be missed by many.
Thinking of you all now and often.

    Jim, Colleen and Logan

We will always remember him as one of the fun fathers in the neighbourhood when we were growing up . Although we were not perfect he tried his best not to give us too much heck . He raised some beautiful, smart and athletic daughters with a strong work ethic.

Dearest Helen, Karen, Nancy, Sandra, Roy, Jen, and Neil,

We are truly saddened to hear of the recent loss of you dear husband and father. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow. As you reflect on the many memories you have of Don, know also that he will be truly missed by all who had the privilege in knowing him. The greatest testaments to his life, however, are the people closest to him that he leaves behind… his family. Take consolation in knowing that all of you, are the people you are today because of the direct influence from your husband and father.
Remember him fondly and he will never truly be gone.

    With great sympathy,
Stacey & Larry Kraemer and family.
