DIETRICH: Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday evening, August 16, 2013, surrounded by the love of her family, after a short fought battle with cancer, Kathy Jean (Geisel) Dietrich, of RR 8, Parkhill (Mount Carmel), age 57. Beloved wife of Thomas “Tom” Leonard Dietrich. Loved mother of Heather Dietrich and her partner Richard Francis of Stratford, Amber Dietrich (boyfriend Lee Brintnell) and John Dietrich both at home. Cherished grandma of Brett Francis and Olivia Francis. Loving daughter of Ted and Jean (Kistner) Geisel of Grand Bend. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Larry and Donna Geisel of Palmerston, Fred and Carol Geisel of Elmwood. She will be remembered by her friend Joan Geisel and dear life-long friend Joan Planta and her husband Henry all of Waterloo. Kathy will be missed by Tom’s family, Robert and Dorothy Dietrich, Linda and Con Foran, Richard and Pauline Dietrich, Suzanne Davis, Donna and Mike Martin, Len and Cindy Dietrich, and her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Leonard and Dorothy (Ziler) Dietrich and her brother-in-law Gerald Dietrich. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Monday August 19, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m, with prayers being offered at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel on Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Father Len Desjardins, Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Kathy was a long time employee of Tim Hortons in Grand Bend.
