DIETRICH: Peacefully, at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Thursday, January 14, 2016, Earl Lawrence Dietrich of Mitchell, formerly of Grand Bend, Stratford and Dashwood, age 72. Loved father and father-in-law of Jonathan Dietrich and Julie Taylor of Waterloo, David and Leeanne Dietrich of Stratford, Mark Dietrich of Cambridge, Rayna and Chris Desjardins of Stratford. Cherished grandpa of Olivia Dietrich, Dexter Dietrich, Melissa Hart and Patrick Robinson, Courtney Hart, Courissa Hart, Kiya Dietrich, Reece Desjardins, Raylyn Desjardins, Celeste Desjardins, and great-grandpa of Hailey, Owen and Alivia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Theresa and Bob Norman of Varna, John and Sandra Dietrich of Grand Bend, Helen and Rene Boogemans of Hensall, Jim and Linda Dietrich of RR 2, Dashwood (Shipka), Marlene and Bill Holman of Brucefield, Linda Wasnidge of RR 3, Ailsa Craig and Carol and Dave Cyr of Centralia. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence “Lorne” (1982) and Mary (Breen) (2014) Dietrich, brother-in-law Bill Wasnidge. At Earl’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. If desired, memorial donations, payable by cheque may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
