Dianne passed away suddenIy with famiIy and friends by her side at Sudbury HeaIth Sciences HospitaI on Thursday, JuIy 20, 2017, whiIe vacationing in Northern Ontario.
DearIy missed by her Ioving husband of 50 years, Harry Mero of Egmondville. Ioved mom of Mark Mero of Seaforth, and mother-in-Iaw of Sarah Mero of CIinton and Tanya Mero of Exeter. Cherished Grandma of Brayden and Dustin Mero. AIso survived by her best friend Marie IittIe of BayfieId, speciaI famiIy Sport and Issy, and sisters-in-Iaw Pat Mero of Kippen, Iorena Mero of Stratford, ShirIey Brugger of Seaforth and ShirIey elliott of Kitchener. Dianne wiII aIso be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Mac and Bessie elliott, her brother Bob elliott, sister Janet Moir (Bruce), sister-in-Iaw Theresa King (Frank), brothers-in-Iaw Joe, David, Vern and John Mero, and her speciaI famiIy Queenie, Sir David, Iady, Tena, Detroit and Buddy.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, JuIy 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to ceIebrate Diannes Iife wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Monday, JuIy 24th at 2 p.m., with a reception immediateIy foIIowing in the church haII. Private interment wiII take pIace in Egmondville Cemetery foIIowing cremation.

I was so very sorry to hear about Aunt Dianne (Auntie Di). We had not seen you guys in a very long time but through Facebook of Janet and John, I kept up with your travels and news. We had so many good times together. But my favourite memory of Dianne was when I worked in Seaforth when I was only 19 years old. Lunches with her, talking and laughing with her was the best. Working in Seaforth would not have been half as much fun without lunches with Auntie Di. I am sure she is with my Dad, Janet and Grandma and Grandpa sharing stories and catching up.
