    The Desjardine Family
We are so sorry to hear of Murt’s passing. I have many fond memories of “growing up ” in your house with your family. Murt reminds me of my Dad. They had many good stories to tell, lots of laughs, and many good jokes were played. Cherish the memories. Thinking of you all.

Dear Myrtle, Marlene, Alan (Lori), Darrell (Vivian) & Extended Families . . .

I am sending my heartfelt sympathies to you at this difficult time as you say good-bye & mourn the loss of an especially important man in your lives. I wanted to reach out to you to pay my respects, especially from myself (Brenda Parsons), my siblings, & my parents, the late Jack and Marion Parsons. Although it has been many years since I last saw Murt & Mrytle, I always enjoyed meeting up with them at my parent’s farm (Parsons Stables) for coffee & cookies, sharing stories of the families. I especially remember Murt as being a kind gentle soul with a huge heart, but he had a heck of a temper with us young ones, when we would get caught raiding his food truck out on Waterloo St., Exeter. Murt & Myrtle raised a wonderful family. I have so many great memories of both our families visiting back & forth in the earlier years from the days of horse shows, trail rides and rodeos.

May your cherished memories put a smile on your face & comfort you through these difficult days ahead. It is always hard to see our once lively husband, father, grandfather age & eventually leave this world behind – but know Murt is now resting in peace.

Thinking of you during this very immensely sad time. May the wonderful memories you made together as a family help you through the difficult days ahead & know that his legacy will live on in all of you. . .

Murt touched the lives of so many, leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life’s journey leaves a legacy of love, joy, kindness, generosity, laughter, humour, & cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives. Please know that I care & share in your sadness. May you find strength & comfort in the love of family & in the warm embrace of friends.

Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will continue to live on . . . may he forever rest in peace!

“Don’t cry because I’m gone; Smile brightly because I lived”

My thoughts & prayers are with you all as you mourn & celebrate the incredible life of your beloved Murt – God Bless You! ( I am so sorry that I cannot be present for the visitation/funeral )

    Love, Brenda (Parsons) Martene
