Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Saturday, November 10, 2018 of Dashwood at the age of 62. Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda (Kipfer). Loving son of Mary Lou Desjardine of Zurich and the late Maurice Desjardine (2005). Dear father of Mike and Keri Desjardine and Carl Desjardine all of Calgary, Dyelan and Angela Desjardine of Thunder Bay, Carrington Desjardine of Toronto and Melissa Brideau of London. Dear grandfather of Maynard, Brenden, Summer, Nevaeh, and Willow. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lee and Sandra Desjardine of Pine Lake, Bayfield, Carleen and Norm Lane of Vanastra, Brian and Jill Kipfer of Dashwood, Kevin and Michelle Kipfer of Strathroy, Kim and Bill Graff of Melbourne, Dan and Jen Irvine of Burlington, Jim and Tricia Irvine of Toronto, and Sandra and Reiner Meyer of Vancouver Island. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and relatives. Predeceased by a nephew Brian Desjardine. He will be greatly missed by his 3 fur babies. Harvey proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces and is remembered by his military family. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Harvey’s life will take place at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, ZURICH on Saturday, December 15th from 1-4 PM. Words of remembrance will be held at 3:00 PM.
Donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
