Peacefully on June 8, 2021 at South Huron Hospital, Exeter of Grand Bend and formerly of Windsor at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Russell Davies for 50 years. Loving mother of Jason and his wife Tracy of Windsor. Cherished Nana Cathy of Ava, and Hayden. Dear sister of James “Jimmy” Douglas, and Wayne Douglas. Adored daughter-in-law of Richard and Florence Davies. Survived by sisters-in-law Deborah, and Marlene. Predeceased by parents Mavis and Larry Douglas and sister-in-law Darlene.
Cathy was an award-winning pastry chef, who inspired many by teaching culinary arts at the college in Windsor.
In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We are very sorry and sad for Cathy’s passing. She was a wonderfully kind, talented women. I loved her wit and smarts. She would always welcome us with her famous, fantastic banana bread when we would come stay. I guess God had another purpose for her. I’m just thankful she is done suffering.
