After a courageous battle with cancer, Michael C. H. Dand, of R.R. 1, St. Marys, passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2010 in St. Marys Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of Janice (Uttley) Dand. Loved son of Adrienne (Colin) Bowker and the late Michael Dand and son-in-law of Ross and Jay Uttley. Dear brother to his sisters Pauline, Sandra and Anne (Terry) and brother-in-law of Barry (Lori) Uttley and Brent Uttley. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews in England, nephews Christopher, Michael and Phillip Uttley and his two faithfull german shepherds. Predeceased by his brother Christopher Bowker. Cremation.
A Memorial service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, St. Marys on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Canon France Ouimet-Wilson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice. The family would like to thank the staff of the London Regional Cancer Center, St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Emergency Department, the V.O.N and all those that helped during Michael’s illness.
