Beloved wife of the late Gerardus (Gerard) Van der Ploeg (1995). Loving mother of Janice and John Walkey of Oshawa, Mark and Laurie Van der Ploeg of RR 4 Denfield, Monique and Darren McPhail of London, Susan and David Gouthro of Port Perry, Chris Van der Ploeg and Lesley Switzer of Newmarket and Gary and Natalie Van der Ploeg of London. Oma of Catherine and Carolyn; Philip and Kevin; Heather; and Liam and Elizabeth. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Leo and Jeanne Ouweneel of Holland. Predeceased by a sister Ria (1989) and a brother Chris (1958). Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Lucan on Wednesday, March 5th at 11AM with Father Joseph Hardy presiding. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM.
