Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Ray Consitt (2022) for 66 years. Cherished mother of Mark and Sandra Consitt, Deborah and Ron Denys, and Beth and Rob Dekoker. Adored grandmother of Brandon, Ryan and Jenni, Sean and Lexy; Marsha and Jason; Melanie and Justin and great-grandmother of Rory, Vivian; Clara, Olivia, Reid, and Lennon. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Les Consitt, brother Elmer, sister Audrey, brothers and sisters in-law, Glenn Koehler, Anna Campbell, Jack and his wife Margaret Consitt, and her parents Percy and Emma (Love) Campbell.
Mom farmed and raised their family alongside Dad in Tuckersmith Township. Surrounded by family, caring neighbours and the gang of friends, her life settled into a busy routine in which she found contentment. Retirement to Exeter brought hobbies and new friends including golf, lawn bowling, square dancing, and volunteering. Mom loved the camping weekends that included the Grandkids. Winters spent in Lakeland, Florida offered time for golf, shuffleboard and cards.
Special thanks to Dr. Jadd and the staff at the Exeter Villa for the care they provided. Also, to the staff at Jessica’s House.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER, on Tuesday, January 6th from 11:30 – 12:30, where Marg’s funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
