CHESTER: Suddenly, at University Hospital, London, on Sunday, August 2, 2020, David John “Dave” Chester of Grand Bend and formerly of Kitchener, age 77. Beloved husband of Gertrud “Gerri” (Grabatin) (Snively) Chester. Loved father and father-in-law of John and Sharon Chester of Ottawa, Paul Chester, Charles Snively, Tammy Snively both of Kitchener and Deborah Snively of Nova Scotia. Dearly loved son of Ivy (McGregor) Chester of Cambridge and the late Ernie Chester. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Donald and Yvonne Chester of Cambridge, Richard and Sandra Grabatin of St. Catharines and Irene Saunders of Thorold. At the request of Dave and his family, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation (payable direct to charity) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. T.
