Peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer on Saturday, November 27th, 2004 Charlie Metters of St. Marys and formerly of Prospect Hill in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Florence (Armitage) Metters. Dear brother-in-law of John and Lorraine Armitage of London. Predeceased by his parents Edna and Oscar Metters. Son-in-law of the late Viola and Percy Armitage. At Charlie’s request cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service and interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Prospect Hill on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 11 AM. Donations to Prospect Hill Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, Lucan (227-4211) entrusted with arrangements.
