Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Sunday, March 9, 2003 Charles Alvin Mortley of Exeter in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Humphreys) Mortley (1992). Dear father of Roberta Mortley of Exeter, John Mortley of Trenton and Chuck and Diane Mortley of Kenmore. Dear grandfather of ย Barbara; Colin; Winnie, Charlie and William. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Charlie and Grace Mortley of Arthur, Jim and Elizabeth Mortley of Gravenhurst and Evelyn and Jim Winmill of Appleriver, ILL. Predeceased by an infant son Robert James, a sister Leone Trask and a brother Harry. Charles was a WWII Veteran with the Royal Canadian Air Force.Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held at Wednesday, March 12th at 11 AM with the Rev. Lillian Wilton officiating. Cremation with interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
