CHAMBERS: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Monday, September 16, 2019, Lenore Jean (Jones) Chambers of Grand Bend , formerly of London, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Arthur “Art” Robert “Bob” Chambers (May 20, 2016). Loved mother of Janet Chambers of Grand Bend and the late Wayne Chambers (1976). Jean will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Rupert Taylor and Violet Rose (Pyatt) Jones, brothers Norman, Edward and Fred Jones, sisters Lila Sells and Edna Medd. At Jean’s request, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation commencing at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London at a later date. Jean retired from Bell Telephone and Fanshawe College and was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 498, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
