Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House Hospice, Exeter on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Shirley (Shepherd) Cassidy for 60 years. Cherished father of Tim and Isabel Cassidy, and Cindy and Sam Cook. Adored popa of Matthew, Mark, Thomas; Sarah, and Hannah. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Melbourne and June Cassidy, Sandra Jennings, Cheryl Cassidy, Murray and Marg Shepherd, Douglas Shepherd, Bev and Mike Ault, and Joan and Allen Larmour. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Garry Cassidy, siblings-in-law, Ardith and George Onland, Glendon Jennings, Mac Shepherd, and Gord Shepherd.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Morrisburg Legion, 10 Legion Street, MORRISBURG on Sunday, June 15th from 1 to 4 PM.
Donations to Jessica’s House in Alton’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
