CARTER: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Thursday, March 2, 2006, Ian Keith Carter C.A., C.M.C. of Sarnia and Grand Bend, in his 61st year. Son of the late Marjorie Alice (McGugan) and John Henry Carter of St. Thomas. Husband of Barbara Robertson (originally of Aylmer). Father of John Carter of Grand Bend, Matt Carter of Windsor, Susan and her husband Dan Bowman of Mississauga. Grandfather of Andy, Robbie and Shannon Bowman. Brother of Mae and her husband John Scott of St. Thomas. Predeceased by brother-in-law Lawrence Elvidge. Uncle of Sharon and her husband Jim Giles of St. Thomas, Kevin Elvidge and his wife Lori of Dorchester, Kelvin Elvidge of Detroit. Brother-in-law of Stephen Robertson and his wife Ann of Grand Bend. Uncle of Stephanie and her husband Brent Holmes and Heather and her husband Ken Hoare all of London. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harry Disher and Archdeacon Jack Doidge officiating, immediately followed by interment at Exeter Cemetery and reception at Grand Bend United Church. Keith asked that remembrances be made to the Grand Bend United Church of charity of your choice.
