CAIRNS: Peacefully, at Huron Residential Hospice, Clinton, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Marla Louise (Francis) Cairns, of Dashwood, formerly of London and Goderich, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Ian John Cairns (2004). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Cindy and Brad Hawkins of Dashwood, Duane and Bonnie Forth of Bancroft, Mark and Denise Forth, Ann and Rick Watts all of London. Cherished grandma of Eric and his fiancée Cara, Matthew, Jennifer, Crystal, Andrew and Helen, Andrea and Mike, Erin, James . Treasured great-grandma of 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Pat and Len Donkervoort, Jean Jacobs, Nancy and Herb Lyon. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Thelma (Pierce) Francis, siblings Thelma, Bill, Earl and Bob. At Marla’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 498 – Grand Bend on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 12 to 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Huron Residential Hospice, Clinton would be appreciated by the family.
