CAIRNS: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Friday, September 3, 2004, John Cairns, age 74, of Grand Bend. Beloved husband of Marla Louise (Francis) Cairns. Loving father of Ann and Richard Watts of London, Jim Cairns and Susie of St. Thomas and step-father of Cindy Hughes and Steve Cornell of London, Duane and Bonnie Forth of Goderich and Mark Forth of London. Loving grandpa of Andrew and Helen Angus, Andrea and Michael Wakem, Joshua Cairns, Jessica Foster, Eric Hughes, Mathew, Jennifer and Crystal Forth. Predeceased by his brother Bill Lynas. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday, September 5, 2004, commencing at 1 p.m. followed by the Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Bend Branch No. 498 service in the Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. Cremation. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
