
CADMAN: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Peter Randolph Cadman of Grand Bend, passed away May 14, 2012 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Hilda May (Yates) Cadman for more than 63 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Marian and John Quinn; Elizabeth and Neil Duplantis; Barbara Ann and Gary Campbell; Peter and Peggy Cadman; Tom and Stacey Cadman. Loving grandfather of Hilary and Ashley Quinn, Willa, Barry and Stacey Duplantis, Ainslie Beth, Gavin and Rory Campbell, Tyler and Jaime Cadman, Victoria, Benjamin and Blake Cadman and great-grandfather of Lilah May and Gareth Campbell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tom Cadman, Walter and Brenda Cadman, Georgina Yates, Enid and Al Fuller, and Don Parisienne. Predeceased by his sisters Enid Dore and Doreen Mortimer, and his parents Alfred and Elizabeth Cadman. Peter grew up in the โflatsโ of Park Extension, Montreal and joined the Navy as a young man. He married Hilda May, the love of his life, and they brought up their happy family in the beautiful town of Otterburn Park, PQ. He later moved to Oakville for business reasons. He was a respected and successful businessman and worked for 40 years for CU Assurance. Peter spent his golden years in Grand Bend making new friendships and enjoying Hilda Mayโs gardens. He was a loyal friend, gracious host and a dedicated family man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Service to Celebrate Peterโs wonderful life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2 pm at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Ont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, may be made by cheque to South Huron Hospital Foundation in recognition of their exceptional and compassionate care or to the charity of your choice.
