
BURNLEY: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Tuesday, February 27, 2007, W. Howard Burnley, of Exeter, formerly of Grand Bend, age 85. Beloved husband of Verna Alice (Stebbins) Burnley. Loved father of Beverly and Ken Matthews, Sandra and Sherwood Herriman, Diana and Gord Lethbridge, Bill and Maria Burnley. Loved step-father of Larry Coughtrey and Ginette, Carly and Gaston Isacco. Loved by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Leone Wellington of Petrolia. Remembered by his nieces, nephews, their families, Vernaโs family Donald and Lynda McAdam, Leslie and Dianne McAdam, John McAdam, Elizabeth and Bill VanDamme. Predeceased by his parents John and Reta Burnley, brother Edwin Burnley, sisters Aileen Oliver and Dorothy Davies. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation, Friday, March 2, 2007, commencing at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tracey Whitson-Bahro officiating. Interment Wyoming Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. Howard served with the Postal Corps during WWII.
