BURNLEY: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, Verna Alice (Stebbins) Burnley, of Brussels, formerly of Exeter and Crediton, age 84. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred McAdam (1997), Douglas A. Waite (1986) and W. Howard Burnley (2007). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Donald McAdam and Mary Lue of Brussels, Leslie McAdam and Diane of Manitoba, John McAdam of RR 1, Dashwood and Elizabeth and Bill VanDamme of RR 1, Varna. Cherished grandma and great-grandma of many. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy (Wayne) Mellin of RR 3, Parkhill, Leona Wellington of Petrolia. Verna will be remembered by her Aunt Myrel Kenny of Strathroy, many nieces, nephews and their families, and many first and second cousins. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Pearl (Walper) Stebbins, sisters Irene and Helen Stebbins, brothers Ken and Roy Stebbins and daughter-in-law Lynda McAdam. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. Where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. and visitation one hour prior. Mr Bob Heywood Officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, London. If desired, memorial donations to the South Huron Hospital – Palliative Care Unit or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
